The Village of Muntigunung

This village is about as remote as you would want to travel to it is one of the most socially and economically deprived villages on the Isle of Bali. Southern Cross Bali Association was approached to build a new community kitchen so that the holy man could cook more food for the elderly that live further up the mountain The Southern Cross Bali Association and Building Beyond Borders financed the operation and using labour from within the village the new cookhouse was constructed.
