Just a Few examples of how we are able to help the disadvantaged and needy on the Isle of Bali.

abcess

This baby had a severe mouth abscess.
Even if the parents could raise the finance to have this child treated they had no idea how to get treatment.
The baby was taken to hospital by members of the Southern Cross Bali Association and the abscess was removed and the child has fully recovered.

Wheelchairs For Kids had donated a wheelchair to Southern Cross Bali Association and we transported it to Bali for a child who is unable to walk. The wheelchair has given this child a new look on life as he can now go places never before attempted.

Agus has recently been diagnosed with leukemia, he was required to have spinal infusion injections (Chemotherapy) He is having one injection per month and he has five to go. The injections finish in December, then he has to have his bone marrow tested. Only then will they be able to determine his future.
the ongoing treatment for Agus requires him to have regular medication and a special formulated tinned food diet which is very costly to this family.

The Southern Cross Bali Association paid for all the costs associated with his treatment and are committed to pay for all his future ongoing costs.
